A mainstay of the gay clubbing scene in London, DJ Andy Almighty has graced the decks of many of the city’s major club nights including the legendary Brixton based Saturday nighter Love Muscle, Anthem at Crash (and more recently Anthem - Old Skool Reunion at the RVT), XXL/Fusion at The Arches, DNA at Fire, Loverboy at the The Coliseum, G-A-Y at the Astoria and the main floor on Saturdays at Heaven, but it is his residency at the ever-popular Sunday S.L.A.G.S/Chill-Out at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern (aka RVT), where Andy really made a name for himself. For the last 13 years, as both promoter and resident DJ, Andy has made the night his own, building up an incredibly loyal and devoted fan base. No visit to the gay capital would be complete without a visit to this weekly clubbing phenomenon situated in the heart of the Vauxhall gay village. It is fair to say that most gay men, visiting the UK, make it an absolute priority to experience the amazing atmosphere at this world renowned Tea Dance.

Andy is also a prolific remixer and producer. For 8 years (from 1997) he worked as part of the label, production and remix team Almighty Associates helping them to become one of the world’s most successful commercial remix teams. To this day, no other commercial remixers have surpassed Almighty’s quite phenomenal success. Almighty are known all over the globe for their infectious, up-tempo pop/dance remakes and have generated scores of worldwide dance hits with remixes for stars such as Cher, Anastacia, Kylie Minogue, Sugababes, Pink, Gabrielle, Enrique Iglesias, Josh Groban, Jennifer Lopez, Nelly Furtado, Kelly Clarkson, Whitney Houston, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Donna Summer, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Holliday, Lulu, Kim English, Liza Minnelli, Gloria Gaynor, Thelma Houston, Shania Twain, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Soft Cell, LeAnn Rimes, Darren Hayes, Savage Garden, Shakira, Sheena Easton, Duran Duran, Jimmy Somerville, Deborah Harry, Faith Hill, Dannii Minogue to name a few!

Following his stint with Almighty, Andy started (along with 2 fellow Almighty producers) another commercial remix team - Club Junkies, working on projects including Maroon 5, Amber, Melanie C, Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez, Pat Hodges, Jason Herd ft. Katherine Ellis, Kylie Minogue, StoneBridge, C&C Music Factory, QED, Kylie Minogue, De’Lacy, Andy Bell, Joey Negro, Ruff Driverz presents Arrola and many others. More recently Club Junkies have remixed JLS, Nicole Scherzinger, McFly, Tinchy Stryder, Dionne Bromfield, Mumzy Stranger, The Overtones, A1, Oxford Hustlers & Katherine Ellis, Keri Hilson, Camille Jones and Kylie Minogue.

In 2006, along with Almighty’s main producer Jon Dixon, Andy started the now hugely successful, world renowned remix and production team 7th Heaven. Over 5 years, the lads have gained both commercial and critical success and are in constant demand as remixers. 7th Heaven have remixed artists such as Kylie Minogue, The Saturdays, Jason Derulo, Tinchy Stryder, Scissor Sisters, Sugababes, Keri Hilson, JLS, Taio Cruz, Pink, Chris Willis, Wonderland, Shakira, Kelis, Whitney Houston, Nicole Scherzinger, Jay Sean, Loleatta Holloway, Gyptian, Talay Riley, Alesha Dixon, LeAnn Rimes, Noisettes, Selena Gomez & The Scene, Kristine W, McFly, Darren Hayes, The Wanted, Freemasons, Boyzone and The Ting Tings. 7th Heaven have also enjoyed success as producers. Their debut release in 2008 'Ain't Nothin' Goin’ On But The Rent', featured the popular diva Katherine Ellis and was signed to Ministry Of Sound's pop imprint, Hard2Beat. 2 further productions followed in 2009, a fabulous update of Lonnie Gordon's Italo classic ‘Gonna Catch You’ (later retitled ‘Catch You Baby’) which was signed to EMI’s dance label Feverpitch and 'This Is Your Life' featuring early 90s pop act Banderas, signed to Italian label Jolly Roger. Both were huge club hits here in the UK topping the much respected Cool Cuts chart. 2011 saw the release on Italian label Ego of the latest 7th Heaven project, 'Don't Make Me Wait' featuring the amazing vocal talents of Donna Gardier-Elliott. Another collaboration with Katherine Ellis is planned for release in the summer on 2011.
